Pokémon GO's Beloved Buddies event: Double XP, Shiny Pokémon, and Dhelmise Debuts!
Get ready for a heartwarming event in Pokémon GO! The Beloved Buddies event is bringing increased XP, boosted shiny rates, and the highly anticipated debut of Dhelmise. This event focuses on strengthening your bond with your Pokémon companions.
Event Dates: February 11th - February 15th
Dhelmise Debut: This Sea Creeper Pokémon is finally making its Pokémon GO debut, appearing in raids.
Double XP and Extended Lures: Catching Pokémon will award double XP, and Lure Modules will last a full hour, attracting a variety of Pokémon including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching these specific Pokémon will also grant an additional 500 Stardust.
Increased Shiny Rates & Wild Encounters: Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce will have increased appearance rates. Other wild Pokémon appearing more frequently include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.
Raid Battles: A diverse range of raid battles await:
- One-Star Raids: Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp (with increased shiny rate for Skrelp).
- Three-Star Raids: Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise.
- Five-Star Raids: Enamorus (Incarnate Forme).
- Mega Raids: Mega Tyranitar.
