Set in the Bronze Age, Ozymandias lets you explore diverse ancient Mediterranean and European civilizations. While retaining the strategic depth of a classic 4X game—city building, army raising, and conquering opponents—its unique selling point is its streamlined, rapid pace.

Unlike many 4X games that demand meticulous resource management, Ozymandias simplifies the process. Forget endless micromanagement; this game prioritizes speed. Matches typically conclude within 90 minutes, making it comparable to a board game session. Simultaneous turns further accelerate gameplay. However, this simplification might make the game feel overly simplistic to some.

The game features eight detailed historical maps and 52 unique empires, each with distinct characteristics that influence gameplay strategy. Multiple game modes are available, including solo, multiplayer, and asynchronous options.
