Sony Wants The Last of Us 2 Remastered PC Players to Sign Into PSN, Offers Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Skin for Ellie as an Incentive
Sony has revealed the PC specifications for The Last of Us Part II Remastered, launching April 3rd, alongside PSN login incentives and new content for No Return mode on both PC and PlayStation 5. A PlayStation Blog post details features developed by Naughty Dog, in collaboration with Nixxes Software and Iron Galaxy.
The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC Features:
- Nvidia DLSS 3 Super Resolution support
- AMD FSR 3.1 and AMD FSR 4 support with upscaling and frame generation
- VSync and adjustable framerate options (including uncapped)
- DirectStorage support
- Adjustable Texture Quality, LOD Distance Range, Volumetric Quality, Shadow Quality, Ambient Occlusion, and Reflections Quality
- Ultrawide monitor support (21:9, 32:9, 48:9, triple-monitor setups)
- 4K resolution support
- Support for various controllers, keyboard, and mouse
- 3D audio
- Extensive keyboard and mouse customization (full remapping, dual bindings, adaptive mode combining keyboard and controller)
- Full gamepad support with DualSense haptic feedback
- Wide range of graphics settings and presets for diverse hardware.

No Return Mode Expansion:
No Return mode welcomes two new playable characters: Bill (from The Last of Us Part I) with a "Smuggler" playstyle featuring a custom pump shotgun and double rewards from dead drops; and Marlene, a "Risk Taker" with a custom assault rifle, "All or Nothing" gambits, and the ability to reroute her path once per run. Four new maps join the fray: Overlook (a Seraphites encounter location), School (the abandoned elementary school), Streets (Hillcrest neighborhood), and Nest (Abby's infected building).

This new content, including new Trophies and bug fixes, arrives via a free 2.0.0 patch for PS5 and PC simultaneously.
PSN Login Incentives:
Optional PSN login unlocks PlayStation overlay, PSN Trophies, 50 in-game points for bonus features, and a new Ellie skin featuring Jordan A. Mun's jacket from Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. This skin is also unlockable on PS5 via the 2.0 patch and in-game bonus points.

Neil Druckmann recently discussed Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, revealing its four-year development and its focus on faith and religion in an alternate historical timeline. The game stars Tati Gabrielle as Jordan A. Mun.
The PC release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered precedes Season 2 of HBO's adaptation, which will feature the return of spores.
