As one of humanity's last hopes, your mission is to recruit and train these mecha girls to combat the menacing catastromechs and restore peace to Earth. This beginner's guide will illuminate the core mechanics and game modes essential for boosting your account power and progression. Let's dive in!
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Scarlet Girls
At the heart of Scarlet Girls lies a completely Idle-based gameplay system, perfect for players who prefer a more laid-back approach to gaming. Battles unfold in a turn-based format, where actions are dictated by each character's Speed stat. A round concludes once all allies and enemies have had their turn. You can deploy up to five characters in battle, with the Quick Dispatch feature simplifying squad formation by automatically selecting your strongest characters. Once set up, you can sit back and enjoy the spectacle of thrilling animations accompanying each character's special abilities.
Your characters, known as "Stellaris," possess a range of active and passive abilities that automatically activate in combat. Each skill has a cooldown period, requiring strategic team composition to maximize your squad's effectiveness. The real-time combat system leaves no room for manual intervention, making your choice of characters and their lineup the key to victory.
Each Stellaris is categorized into one of four classes, each with distinct roles:
- Paladins – Boast the highest armor stat, acting as the frontline to absorb enemy attacks and shield their teammates.
- Support – Equipped with healing and supportive abilities, these Stellaris provide crucial utility from the backline.
- Devastator – Masters of heavy firepower, these Stellaris are designed to unleash devastating energy damage on enemies.
- Assaulter – Skilled in bladed combat, these Stellaris excel at dealing physical damage, efficiently taking down foes.
Echo – The Gacha System of Scarlet Girls
Recruitment of Stellaris is facilitated through the game's gacha system, known as Echo. Stellaris come in varying rarities: R, SR, SSR, and SSR+, with higher rarities boasting superior base stats and stronger abilities, significantly impacting your gameplay.
At global launch, the "Normal Echo" banner is your gateway to summoning R-SSR Stellaris. You can use Echo tickets or Diamonds to summon, with an SSR character guaranteed within 40 summons. Each summon also rewards you with 20 Echo points. Accumulate 2000 points, and you're eligible to summon a random SSR character from one of the four elemental banners, excluding Nebula. Keep track of your Echo points progress on the right-hand side of the Echo system.
The probabilities for recruiting different rarities of Stellaris are as follows:
- R Stellaris – 19.979% chance for each individual R character
- SR Stellaris – 2.667% chance for each individual SR character
- SSR Stellaris – 0.133% chance for each individual SSR character
- SSR+ Stellaris – 0.010% chance for each individual SSR+ character
