Housemarque's latest project, Saros, made its debut at the State of Play February 2025. Slated for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro in 2026, Saros promises to build upon and enhance the captivating gameplay of Returnal. The game introduces players to the protagonist Arjun Devraj, brought to life by the talented Hollywood actor Rahul Kohli.

According to Housemarque’s creative director, Gregory Louden, Saros is designed to establish its own identity while evolving the storytelling and mechanics of Returnal. While Returnal offered an ever-changing rogue-like experience across shifting biomes, Saros introduces permanent and evolving loadouts, including weapons and suits. This new feature allows players to "Come Back Stronger," enabling them to overcome any obstacles they encounter.
