Rumor: Genshin Impact Leaks Popular Character\

Genshin Impact Leak Suggests Wriothesley Rerun in Version 5.4

A recent leak hints at a potential return for the Cryo Catalyst, Wriothesley, in Genshin Impact Version 5.4. This would mark his first rerun after a year-long absence since his debut in Version 4.1. The game's extensive roster of over 90 playable characters creates scheduling challenges, making fair rerun distribution difficult. With limited banner slots and a high demand for character reruns, the current system struggles to meet player expectations.

While the Chronicled Banner aimed to address this issue, its effectiveness remains debated. The long wait for Shenhe's rerun (over 600 days) highlights the system's shortcomings. Until the implementation of triple banners, extended wait times between reruns are likely to persist.

Wriothesley, a popular Cryo character known for his potent Burnmelt team compositions, has been unavailable since November 8, 2023. The leak from Flying Flame suggests his return in Version 5.4. However, it's crucial to remember that Flying Flame's leak record is inconsistent, so this information should be treated cautiously. The recent Spiral Abyss buffs, however, do support Wriothesley's viability, lending some credence to the rumor.

Version 5.4 is also anticipated to introduce Mizuki, potentially Inazuma's first Standard Banner character. If both Mizuki and Wriothesley are featured, the remaining banner slots might include either Furina or Venti, as they are the only Archons yet to receive sequential reruns. Version 5.4's launch is projected for February 12, 2025.
