How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.
In the eerie universe of *R.E.P.O.*, your survival hinges on the items you carry, which can either propel you to the next level or lead you to the dreaded Disposal Arena where you'll face off with your teammates. Among these crucial items, Recharge Drones stand out as vital tools for success. Here's how to obtain and utilize them effectively.
What Recharge Drones Do
Within the game, certain items at the Service Station, such as Mines and Grenades, are disposable, while others, like weapons and drones, feature a rechargeable "battery life." These can be restored using Energy Crystals. At the start of your journey in *R.E.P.O.*, you'll spot a container in your truck designed for charging your gear, albeit at the cost of one Energy Crystal per charge.
However, some levels can be particularly challenging, and your items may wear down rapidly based on usage. Although you can recharge at your truck with Energy Crystals, you won't always have access to it. This is where the Recharge Drone becomes invaluable, allowing you to manage your items' energy on the move.
How to Get and Use the Recharge Drone in R.E.P.O.
The Recharge Drone, like other items and upgrades, is available at the Service Station, which you reach after successfully completing each level. Here, you can equip yourself with the tools necessary for easier progression—provided you have the funds.
Items at the Service Station appear randomly, so it might take several visits before the Recharge Drone becomes available. When it does, it costs between $4-5K and occupies one of your inventory slots. Choose to assign it to slot 1, 2, or 3 after buying it.
Now that you're equipped with the knowledge of where to find and how to use the Recharge Drone in *R.E.P.O.*, you're better prepared to navigate its terrifying landscapes and keep your gear in top shape.
