Purrfect Platformer: Prepare for 'Buttered Cat', an Epic Puzzle Adventure

A charming new puzzle platformer, Cato: Buttered Cat, is coming soon to Android! The game's quirky name—a portmanteau of "cat" and "toast"—perfectly reflects its whimsical gameplay. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers at Team Woll did, and the answer is pure, gravity-defying fun!

Initially a 2022 BOOOM Gamejam entry, Cato: Buttered Cat's positive reception led to its full development. Currently available on Steam for PC, an Android release is imminent. While the Google Play Store listing isn't live yet, you can pre-register on the official TapTap page.

Gameplay:

Control both a cat and a piece of buttered toast to solve puzzles, battle enemies, and explore five unique, fantastical worlds. With 200 levels (including side quests) and 30 costumes, there's plenty to discover. The gameplay cleverly utilizes the contrasting abilities of the cat (climbing, running) and the toast (projectile launching), encouraging creative problem-solving. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add to the replayability.
