Poké Holiday Cheer Coming Soon

Pokémon Go's Holiday Part One event kicks off December 17th and runs through the 22nd, bringing festive cheer and exciting gameplay. Expect double XP for catching Pokémon and halved egg hatching distances. This event introduces a costumed Dedenne (with a shiny variant!), alongside the first-ever appearance of Shiny Sandygast.

Wild encounters feature Alolan Sandshrew, Swinub, and Darumaka. Raids offer a diverse lineup, including Pikachu and Psyduck in holiday costumes (one-star raids), Glaceon and Cryogonal in festive attire (three-star raids), and Mega Latias and Mega Latios in Mega Raids. Seven-kilometer Eggs hold the possibility of hatching Hisuian Growlithe or a ribbon-adorned Cubchoo.

Players can earn rewards through event-themed Field Research tasks and a purchasable Timed Research ($2.00). Collection Challenges focusing on catching and raiding provide Stardust, Poké Balls, and Great Balls. Don't forget to check out PokéStop Showcases to display your festively dressed Pokémon! Free in-game items are also available via redeemable codes.
