Pokémon Go Holiday Part Two event details unveiled ahead of Part One launch
The festive season is in full swing for Pokémon Go players as Niantic gears up to launch the second part of their Holiday Event from December 22nd to 27th. With the first part kicking off on December 17th, excitement is already building for what's to come. Get ready for a packed schedule filled with even more bonuses, encounters, and special challenges to elevate your holiday gaming experience.
During the Holiday Part Two event, you'll enjoy double XP for catching Pokémon, making every catch count even more. Raid Battles will also be more rewarding with a 50% boost in XP. Keep your eyes peeled for the debut of Dedenne, along with Wooloo and Dubwool sporting festive holiday outfits. And who knows? You might just encounter a shiny version of these holiday-themed Pokémon.
From December 25th through January 5th, your Daily Adventure Incense will last twice as long, giving you ample time to explore and catch a variety of wild Pokémon including Alolan Rattata, Murkrow, Blitzle, Tynamo, Absol, and many more.
For those who enjoy the thrill of raids, one-star raids will feature Litwick and Cetoddle, while three-star raids will include Snorlax and Banette. If you're up for a challenge, five-star raids will be headlined by Giratina, and Mega Raids will spotlight Mega Latios and Abomasnow.
If quests are more your thing, Field Research Tasks will offer encounters with event-themed Pokémon. For an additional $5, you can participate in a paid Timed Research, which includes rewards like a Glacial Lure Module, two Incense, a Wooloo Jacket, and more encounters. Plus, dive into the catch- and raid-focused Collection Challenges to earn Stardust, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls.
