"Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage Hits Mobile Platforms Soon"

Among the most eagerly awaited releases I discussed last year, one that truly caught my attention was the upcoming Pirates Outlaws 2: Heritage. The original Pirates Outlaws was a captivating, swashbuckling roguelike deckbuilder that hit the scene when the genre was still blossoming. Now, its sequel is set to launch in Q3 of this year, promising even more excitement on the high seas.

This "seaquel" brings you back to New Elysia for another thrilling journey across the ocean waves. Begin your adventure by selecting a character, a class ability, and a starting deck, and set sail for adventure!

In Pirates Outlaws 2, you have the freedom to choose from multiple characters, each offering seven class options. You can customize your deck and even recruit an animal companion, adding strategic depth to your battles. With enhanced turn-based combat and a new card evolution tree, you'll have a plethora of tools at your disposal to conquer the seas!

Run out the gunsPirates Outlaws 2 promises to be a significantly expanded sequel, allowing you to explore freely across the map with even more permutations and combinations of cards and characters. For those on PC, an upcoming Steam demo will be your first opportunity to get your hands on Pirates Outlaws 2!

My only concern stems from the animations shown in the reveal trailer, which appear somewhat static to me. While fully animating these illustrations can be challenging, I'm hopeful that the final release will feature more dynamic effects when it arrives on mobile later this year.
