Following months of speculation, Nintendo finally offered a glimpse of the Switch 2. The brief teaser showcased a refined console design that retains the hybrid functionality of its predecessor while incorporating significant upgrades.

The teaser highlighted a larger display, a more robust kickstand, and magnetically attaching Joy-Cons – a notable change from the original Switch's rail system. An additional USB-C port was also confirmed.

Ticket registration opens January 17, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. PT / 2:00 P.M. CT / 3:00 P.M. ET and closes January 26, 2025, at 11:59 P.M. local time for each location. A Nintendo Account is required. Selection is random, with notifications sent shortly after the registration period closes.
