Mecha BREAK Developers Considering Making All Mechs Free
The multiplayer mech game, Mecha BREAK, concluded its open beta test on Steam on March 16, garnering valuable insights from players. The game saw a peak of over 300,000 players during its open beta and currently ranks as the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam.
Chinese developer Amazing Seasun is contemplating several adjustments, including the immediate availability of Break Strikers (Mechs) and the use of mech modules in 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. While no final decisions have been made, the company believes that adopting a live service model at launch is crucial for the game's long-term success.
Initially, players could only access one Break Striker at the start of the game. To unlock the other 11 Break Strikers, players must earn in-game currency through multiple multiplayer matches, which can be a time-consuming process.
