Marvel Rivals Season 1 Gets Balance Update
Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Major Balance Changes
Marvel Rivals' Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, brings a host of exciting updates. Dracula takes center stage as the main villain, and the highly anticipated Fantastic Four join the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman arrive on day one, with Human Torch and The Thing following six to seven weeks later.
The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," further enhance the gameplay experience.
Significant balance adjustments are also in store. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom get buffs to improve their battlefield performance. Wolverine and Storm also receive enhancements to encourage strategic utilization, while Cloak and Dagger see boosts to improve team composition versatility. Adjustments to Jeff the Land Shark are planned to better align his warning signals with his ultimate's hitbox. While his ultimate's power has been a point of discussion, NetEase Games hasn't detailed specific changes to it.
The impact on the Seasonal Bonus feature remains unannounced, leaving players anticipating shifts in hero bonuses. Season 1 promises a wealth of new content and balance refinements, generating considerable player anticipation.
