Marvel Rivals, the dynamic 6v6 hero shooter, offers smooth matchmaking but truly shines when played with friends. This guide explains how to add friends and team up for victory, keeping in mind current platform limitations.

Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals

Currently, Marvel Rivals lacks cross-progression and cross-play. This means you can only add friends on the same platform. However, cross-platform functionality is planned for a future update.

To add friends:

1. Locate the Friends Icon: Upon launching the game, find the friends icon (usually located in the top right corner near your player profile).

2. Recent Players: Clicking the icon displays a list of recently played players. Select a player to add them to your friends list.

3. Search Function: Alternatively, use the search bar to enter a friend's username. Press Enter and then add them. They must accept your request to appear on your list.

Playing With Friends

Once your friends list is populated:

1. Access Friends List: Click the friends list icon (top right corner).

2. Send Invitation: Locate the desired friend, select their username, and send a game invitation.

3. Queue Together: You can now queue for quick play or competitive matches as a team.

Console Players: Friends added at the console level will automatically appear in your Marvel Rivals friends list, simplifying the invitation process.
