Director Ji-Won Choi recently treated Lies of P fans to an anniversary message, offering both a heartfelt thank you and exciting teases regarding upcoming DLC and a sequel. The message, released by developer NEOWIZ, celebrates the game's first anniversary and highlights the team's dedication to expanding the steampunk Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike experience.

Choi expressed gratitude to fans for their support, describing the team's hard work amidst Korea's summer heat while developing the DLC. He emphasized the team's commitment to building upon the base game's strengths while addressing previously reported issues. He stated, "For the DLC of Lies of P and the sequel, we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow."

The most significant reveal was a sneak peek at the upcoming DLC, including concept art depicting P in a snowy location, gazing at a lighthouse, hinting at a new, perilous chapter. Additionally, a piece of music from the DLC's soundtrack, "Lisrim" (originally composed in 2022 by onoken), was shared. While described as "new," the piece's stylistic similarity to the game's existing soundtrack is evident. The accompanying music video further enhances the anticipation, showcasing a clockwork-weapon-wielding character rescuing a girl from a Victorian rooftop setting.

DLC Release Date and Additional Information:

While a precise release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 Earnings Results indicate a launch sometime during the second half of 2024. The DLC will join four other NEOWIZ titles slated for release:
