How to Start The Lion’s Crest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Once you've finished the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 tutorial and gained access to the open world, head to Troskowitz and speak with the scribe Gaibl. He'll present you with a riddle and the smithing recipe for Brunswick's polearm. Gather the necessary materials and craft the weapon at the blacksmith's forge.

The Lion’s Crest Riddle Solution

The riddle reads: "Take your leave of crone and maiden, standing tall behind the gates, boldly go towards true midnight, in caverns cold your prize awaits. Pass through the hall of forest kings, hidden deep from hunters’ gaze, standing tall two guards of stone, behind who yearned for treasure lays. Between then stands a mighty rock, a subtle niche yet deeper still, a place to give one’s heart to God, behold my armour gleaming still."

Leave Trosky Castle through the northern gates, heading north through the forest. Look to the left of the path for rocky formations with crevices. Entering these leads to a cave containing a chapel. Examine the cross near the rock to find the first piece of Brunswick's Armour and two treasure maps.

Map 1

Continue west along the road to a crossroads, then north into the woods to a wolf den. The second piece of Brunswick's armour is in a bag near the trees above the den.

Map 2

This map leads to Vidlak Pond. Follow the path behind the fisherman's house, locate a large rock formation along the cliffs, and find a chest next to a cross.

Map 3

Fast travel to Zhelejov, leave the tavern, and cross two bridges towards Tachov. After the second bridge, take a small path towards the river and forest. Follow it to a hill; examine the large tree at the top to find bones and a bag containing armour.

Map 4

The final map takes you to a hill between the Nomads’ Camp and Bozhena’s Hut. Locate rocks with a cross to find the last piece of Brunswick's armour.
