While you begin with a pair, replacing them is inevitable. You can find shoes in chests, loot them from enemies, or, for a more straightforward approach, buy them. Tailors sometimes sell shoes (like the one in Troskowitz), but cobblers offer better options. You can find a cobbler early on in Trosky; their map icon resembles three red circles.

Cobblers, like Cobbler Matthew in Trosky, sell various items, including horse gear, materials, and even Blacksmith’s and Cobbler’s Kits.

Shoe repair offers two options: NPC repair or self-repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths can mend your footwear for a fee, with the cost potentially reduced by Craftsmanship skill perks. Alternatively, you can repair them yourself using a Cobbler’s Kit, but your success depends on your Craftsmanship level. If your skill is too low, the item will appear faded in the repair menu, indicating you can't fix it.

Cobbler’s Kits are available from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths, or can be found as loot. To use one, access your inventory, select the kit, and choose the interact option (usually "E" on PC). This opens a menu of repairable items. Select the damaged shoes and repair them using the interact option again.

This covers obtaining and repairing shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Remember, the same method applies to other gear using a Blacksmith’s Kit. While vendor repairs are convenient, self-repairing provides a valuable skill, ensuring you're always prepared for any adventure.
