Sony has unveiled the lineup of free PlayStation Plus games for January 2025, which are now available for subscribers to redeem via the PlayStation Store. This month's offerings include three exciting titles: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The December 2024 lineup, which included It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem, was available until January 6, 2025. The January 2025 games were revealed on New Year's Day and became available starting Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
January 2025 PlayStation Plus Games
- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League - A controversial title from the developers of the Batman: Arkham series, Rocksteady Studios. Released in February 2024, this game has a significant file size of 79.43 GB on PS5. Despite its lukewarm reception, it provides an opportunity for PlayStation Plus subscribers to experience it firsthand.
- Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered - This fan-favorite racing game is available for PS4 with a file size of 31.55 GB. It's the only game in the lineup without a native PS5 version, though it's fully playable via backwards compatibility.
- The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe - An expanded re-imagining of the 2013 original, this game comes with new features and improved accessibility options. It has native versions for both PS4 and PS5, with file sizes of 5.10 GB and 5.77 GB, respectively.
To add all three games to your library, ensure you have at least 117 GB of free storage space on your PS5. Sony typically reveals the next month's PlayStation Plus games lineup towards the end of the current month, and throughout the year, subscribers can look forward to additional titles being added to the Extra and Premium tiers.
