Helldivers 2: The Fall of Angel's Venture and the Looming Threat

A devastating event has rocked the galaxy in Helldivers 2. The Meridian Singularity, a colossal violet abyss, has consumed Angel's Venture, obliterating the planet from existence. Arrowhead Game Studios has declared a period of galactic mourning in response to this catastrophic loss.

Angel's Venture's destruction was inevitable from the moment the evacuation order was given. Following the conclusion of the final large-scale operation, the pulsating singularity engulfed the planet, leaving only a void in its wake.

The Meridian Singularity claimed Angel's Venture. The Illuminates, previously cloaked in a façade of enlightenment, have revealed their true intentions: universal annihilation.

The Galactic Map now displays the devastating scars of Angel's Venture's demise – a stark reminder of the Illuminates' oppressive power. Even more concerning, Ivis, New Haven, and Super Earth itself remain within the deadly reach of the expanding singularity. The galaxy's fate hinges on Super Earth's valiant soldiers, who must confront the Illuminate threat, honor their fallen comrades, and protect their homeworld.

A 24-hour period of mourning has been declared by Super Earth's President.

However, the war is far from over. The Meridian Singularity's relentless advance towards Super Earth continues, putting more planets in immediate danger. The upcoming operation aims to halt the singularity's expansion while simultaneously countering the renewed Illuminate offensive. The hope remains that this second attempt will prove more successful than the first.
