Fortnite is about to host a lineup of exciting artists and performers, and it looks like the virtual pop star Hatsune Miku is joining the party! Recent social media exchanges between Fortnite and Miku's official accounts have generated significant buzz among players.

The Fortnite Festival account playfully claimed possession of Miku's backpack, while Miku's account responded with a humorous plea, asking if anyone had seen her missing backpack. Beyond the anticipated Vocaloid skin and a virtual concert, leaks suggest additional in-game items, including a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant.

The event is slated to launch on January 14th.

On a separate note, a reminder about fair play: In late December, professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo was accused of using cheat software, specifically aimbots and wallhacks, to gain an unfair advantage and win thousands of dollars in prize money. Epic Games' lawsuit alleges Araujo's actions deprived legitimate competitors of a fair chance to win.
