Goat Sim Gets Cardy, Releases Later This Year

Unexpected news for Goat Simulator fans: a card game adaptation is on the horizon! This surprising development promises to capture the chaotic spirit of the original video game franchise. The release is slated for later this year.

Coffee Stain North, the creators of Goat Simulator, have joined forces with MOOD Publishing, known for board game adaptations of titles like Deep Rock Galactic and Valheim, to bring this card game to life.

What We Know About Goat Simulator: The Card Game

Details are still scarce, but the game will support 2-6 players engaged in goat-fueled mayhem. Expect the same brand of absurdity that defined the video game series, now packaged in a card game format.

The game will launch on Kickstarter later in the year. As Creative Director Santiago Ferrero humorously stated, "Chaotic animal-based video games are so last year. That’s why we’ve partnered with MOOD Publishing to release a chaotic animal-based card game instead! You’ve seen goats on your screen; now it’s time to bring them to your table.”

From April Fool's Joke to a Multi-Platform Franchise

The journey of Goat Simulator is remarkable. What began as an April Fool's Day prank in 2014 has evolved into a successful franchise spanning various platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices. With Goat Simulator 3 continuing the series' legacy, the addition of a card game is a testament to its enduring appeal.

For now, fans can revisit the Goat Simulator games on the Google Play Store, while eagerly awaiting further details on the upcoming card game. Stay tuned for our next article covering the Solo Leveling: Arise update.
