Delta Force pre-orders now open for Android and iOS

Delta Force, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now accepting pre-registrations for its mobile release on iOS and Android. Launching in late January 2025, this Tencent-developed title marks a significant entry into the modern military shooter market. The game blends various missions and modes, emphasizing tactical gameplay.

For those unfamiliar, Delta Force is a long-standing FPS franchise predating even Call of Duty. Drawing inspiration from the real-life US military unit, it's known for realistic action, advanced gadgets, and authentic weaponry.

Tencent's Level Infinite has meticulously recreated the Delta Force experience. The game features a Warfare mode offering large-scale combat reminiscent of Battlefield, and an Operations mode focused on extraction-style gameplay. A single-player campaign, heavily inspired by the movie Black Hawk Down and the Battle of Mogadishu, is also planned for 2025.

Addressing Cheating Concerns:

Despite the anticipation, Delta Force hasn't been without its share of controversy. The PC version has faced criticism regarding Tencent's aggressive anti-cheat measures, perceived by some as overly restrictive. While the impact on the mobile version remains to be seen, these concerns may affect player interest. However, the mobile platform typically presents fewer opportunities for cheating.
