Delta Force lays out 2025 roadmap and content ahead of mobile release
Delta Force: A Mobile Tactical Shooter Roadmap for 2025
Level Infinite has unveiled the content roadmap for Delta Force's mobile release, slated for later this year. While the free-to-play model has drawn mixed reactions, the developer is promising a robust content pipeline for 2025.
The initial season focuses on expanding existing content. Expect new operators, weapons, attachments, and gadgets, along with additional maps for the Warfare mode.
Season two introduces a significant twist: nighttime versions of existing maps! This, coupled with more operators, weapons, and gadgets, promises a fresh tactical experience. Season three brings a new season pass and Warfare map, while season four adds yet another Warfare map and further content expansions.
Cross-Progression and Mobile Potential:
Delta Force will feature cross-progression between mobile and PC platforms. This suggests that much of the PC content will be available on mobile at launch. The extensive roadmap indicates a significant commitment to post-launch support.
The Warfare mode, in particular, holds considerable promise, potentially filling a void left by the Battlefield series in the mobile gaming market. However, performance will naturally vary depending on individual devices and their capacity to handle large-scale battles with extensive environmental destruction.
