Blasphemous is about to make its way to mobile. I’m sure you’ve heard great things about this dark, brutal action-platformer. Published by The Game Kitchen on Android, it’s expected to drop later this year.Good News: This Blasphemous Mobile Port Isn’t A Cut-Down VersionBlasphemous gained quite a reputation for its intense difficulty and rich, gothic atmosphere. It’s a grim journey which is now coming to mobile with the same hardcore experience that PC and console players have seen already.Blasphemous mobile will be a complete, fully loaded package. Five years after its original release, you’ll soon be able to play as The Penitent One. You’ll also have access to all the DLCs released so far, including ‘The Stir of Dawn,’ ‘Strife & Ruin’ and ‘Wounds of Eventide.’Blasphemous is known for its heavy combat style, which you’ll soon see on mobile as well. Armed with Mea Culpa, a sword quite literally born from guilt, you get to unleash devastating combos, special moves and brutal executions.The world is non-linear, so you’ll be making your way across a variety of eerie landscapes. What’s The Story?It’s about surviving the nightmarish land of Cvstodia. You play as The Penitent One, the lone survivor of a brotherhood massacred during something called the ‘Silent Sorrow.’ Cursed by a mysterious phenomenon called The Miracle, you're stuck in an endless cycle of death and resurrection.As you progress, you'll find relics, rosary beads, prayers and sword hearts that give you new abilities or stat boosts. The game has a haunting art style, inspired by religious iconography, giving it a unique, grim look.
