Battle Crush Announces EOS Just Few Months After Early Access Launch

NCSoft's Multiplayer MOBA, Battle Crush, is shutting down. This is surprising, given the game never reached a full release, only achieving a global test in August 2023 and early access in June 2024. The end-of-service (EOS) date is set for November 29th, 2024.

Battle Crush Shutdown Details:

  • EOS Date: November 29th, 2024. The in-game shop is already closed.
  • Refunds: Players who made in-app purchases between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024, are eligible for a refund. Refund requests for Android and Steam players can be submitted from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025.
  • Data Download: Download any desired game data before November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
  • Website Closure: The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes.
  • Social Media Closure: Social media accounts and Discord will be deactivated on January 31st, 2025.

Was the Shutdown Expected?

While unexpected for many, Battle Crush's closure isn't entirely shocking. The gameplay, while enjoyable for some, suffered from occasional clunkiness and pacing issues. It lacked the polish needed to truly succeed. The game's less-than-stellar reception likely contributed to the decision.

Players can still download Battle Crush from the Google Play Store before the shutdown. For those looking for a new mobile gaming experience, consider checking out our upcoming coverage of Black Desert Mobile's story-driven Autumn Season quests.
