Pokémon Sleep players have a treat in store: Sneasel and Weavile are now available! This guide details how to befriend these icy newcomers.

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

As Ice/Dark types (Dark type only in Pokémon Sleep), Sneasel and Weavile appear in two locations:

• Snowdrop Tundra: Their ideal habitat, reflecting their typing.
• Greengrass Isle: Accessible to all players, regardless of game progress.

Use an EZ Travel Ticket to switch islands if needed.

Sleep Types

Both Sneasel and Weavile possess the Dozing sleep type. Maximizing your chances of encountering them requires a Dozing sleep type for the night. Sneasel is easier to find initially; evolve it into Weavile using 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. Note: You'll still need to find Weavile in the wild for research data.

Are They Good Additions?

Sneasel's value lies in Wiki Berry gathering, particularly beneficial in Snowdrop Tundra. It also provides an "Extra Tasty" boost to dishes. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable asset.
