Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer: Enhanced PC Features Unveiled
Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, along with ultra-wide monitor compatibility, RTGI, RT Reflections, and extensive settings for varying PC specs. A built-in benchmark tool is also included for performance testing.
Minimum specs for 1080p/30 FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K/60 FPS at ultra settings with advanced ray tracing demand an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and an RTX 4090 (24GB) GPU.
Intel's partnership ensures strong optimization for their processors, while AMD performance will be evaluated post-release. The developers aim to address past stuttering issues, building on the performance improvements seen in Mirage compared to previous installments like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
