PlayAccording to the PlayStation Blog, you can recruit and add characters to your team, unlocking unique summoning abilities. Engage in battle with up to seven active heroes, choosing from a launch roster of 100 warriors.

Koei Tecmo plans to expand the roster post-launch, beginning with characters from the Jin kingdom in Dynasty Warriors. Further additions are teased, hinting at the possibility of characters from outside the Warriors series joining the fray.
