Pokémon GO has announced a new Tour Pass launching February 24th, adding to the excitement of the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova event. This event focuses on the Gen 5 Pokémon, featuring Unova-themed wild encounters, raids, and egg spawns.
The annual Pokémon GO Tour celebrates a different region each year, coinciding with Pokémon Day. Previous Tours featured Kanto (2021) and Sinnoh (2024), introducing shiny Pokémon and special variants.
The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova Tour Pass will be available from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM local time. A free pass is available to all players. Earning Tour Points through daily tasks (catching Pokémon, raids, hatching eggs) unlocks rewards like Candy and Stickers. Reaching the final milestone grants an encounter with a special Zorua. All rewards expire March 9th at 6 PM.
Pokémon GO Announces New Pass for Unova GO Tour
Alongside the free Tour Pass, a deluxe version will be available for $14.99 (or $19.99 with 10 unlocked ranks) on the Pokémon GO webstore from February 24th, 10 AM to March 2nd, 6 PM. This offers all free and paid rewards, an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Victini, and a new Lucky Trinket. This single-use item guarantees a Lucky Trade with a chosen friend, resetting their Lucky Friend status afterward. Deluxe Pass rewards and the Lucky Trinket also expire March 9th at 6 PM.
The Unova Tour Pass enhances the anticipation for the upcoming event, which includes the debut of Kyurem (Black and White forms) via fusion, similar to Necrozma in last year's Tour. Shiny Meloetta will also debut via a ticketed Masterwork Research.
