Marvel Rivals: Spider-Man 2 Suit Arrives This Month

Get ready, Marvel Rivals players! A thrilling crossover event is bringing the iconic Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 into the game as a brand-new skin.

PlayStation recently announced this exciting collaboration on X/Twitter, giving us a sneak peek at NetEase Games' impressive recreation of this popular suit for their hero shooter. This sleek Spider-Man suit, originally designed by Insomniac Games for Marvel’s Spider-Man, has appeared in all three games in the series. Its distinctive white spider symbol sets it apart, and its arrival in Marvel Rivals marks a surprising collaboration between Sony and their console-exclusive superhero game. Prepare to see Spider-Man's Advanced Suit 2.0 swing into the in-game store on January 30th, coinciding with the PC launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. However, this new Spidey suit is particularly special. Beyond its connection to the wildly popular PlayStation series, the Advanced Suit 2.0 will once again feature the voice of Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in all three of Insomniac’s Spider-Man games and also lends his voice to Marvel Rivals’ version of the character. So, when you grab this costume on January 30th, expect a familiar and authentic Spider-Man experience.

NetEase's addition of Spider-Man’s Advanced Suit 2.0 provides another exciting element to the already impressive content released with Season 1: Eternal Night Falls last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch joining the roster shortly. And the fun doesn't stop there! Creative director Guangyun Chen recently promised at least one new hero every month and a half.
