Speak with Martha

When she mentions needing a skilled blacksmith, confidently declare, "I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help," to initiate the "Hush, My Darling" side quest.

If you haven't yet, you can also talk to the bailiff nearby about Matthew from the Dry Devil's group. This not only advances another quest but also serves as a convenient marker to locate Martha.

Craft Horseshoes

You may already possess the necessary items for this quest. You'll need two Farmer’s Horseshoes, which you might have crafted earlier to level up your blacksmithing skills. Find Victoria

Sigismund’s Camp

Head south of Opatowitz to reach Sigismund’s camp. If you're also tracking Matthew for the Dry Devil quest, you might encounter him en route. At the camp, seek out the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He recalls a soldier named Black who showed interest in her. To find Black, make your way to the infirmary tent, as he's currently unwell.

Black requires a Digestive Potion to alleviate his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. Wait a couple of hours for the potion to take effect, after which Black will share that he spoke to Victoria, suggesting she might have ventured into the eastern woods.

Follow the quest marker to find Victoria seated on a stump. Engage in conversation with her about the distressing events. Your dialogue choices here are inconsequential to future events, but if you secured a promise from Black to look after her, conveying this message can offer Victoria some comfort and hope.
