Hazelight's Split Fiction: First Game with Crossplay
Hazelight Studios has consistently offered unique gaming experiences, notably their innovative “Friends Pass” system. This feature, where only one player needs to purchase the game for two-player co-op, sets them apart in the industry. While previous titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly perfect for their cooperative gameplay, this limitation is now a thing of the past.
Excitingly, Split Fiction will fully embrace cross-play functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The popular Friends Pass system returns, requiring only one game purchase for two players, though both will need an EA account.
Adding to the anticipation, Hazelight has unveiled a playable demo. Players can experience Split Fiction together, with the added bonus of progress carrying over to the full game upon release.
Split Fiction promises diverse settings while focusing on the complexities of simple human relationships. Launching March 6th, it will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
