Halo Infinite Community Devs Release PvE Mode That Takes a Page From Helldivers 2's Playbook

The Forge Falcons, a Halo-focused community development studio, has released a new PvE mode for Halo Infinite, drawing inspiration from Helldivers 2.

The Forge Falcons Unleashes Helldivers 2-Inspired PvE Mode in Halo Infinite

Now Available on Xbox and PC!

Halo community developers, The Forge Falcons, have launched "Helljumpers," a free, player-created PvE mode for Halo Infinite. Described as a "Helldivers 2 mode" for the franchise, Helljumpers is available now in Early Access via Halo Infinite Custom Games on Xbox and PC.

Built using Halo Infinite's Forge mapmaking tools, Helljumpers is a 4-player cooperative experience inspired by Arrowhead Game Studios' 2024 hit, Helldivers 2. This exciting PvE mode features custom-designed strategies, a meticulously crafted urban map with randomized objectives, and a progression system mirroring Helldivers 2's upgrade unlocks.

In Helljumpers, players deploy into the battlefield six times per game, similar to Helldivers 2. Before each deployment, players choose their loadouts from a range of weapons including Assault Rifles, Sidekick pistols, and more. Selected weapons can be respawned via the dropship. Players upgrade their characters using perks that enhance health, damage, and speed. Three objectives must be completed per game—one story objective and two main objectives—before extraction.
