Hades II Gets Major Second Update in Early Access
Supergiant Games continues to set a stellar example of how to manage games during early access with the release of the second major update for Hades II, aptly named "Warsong." This update boasts an impressive list of changes, so extensive that scrolling through the full changelog might take a while—although it's still not as daunting as the 1,700 fixes included in the latest STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl patch.
Accompanying the update, the developers have enriched the game with over 2,000 new voice lines, fresh music tracks, and enhanced character interactions. Players can now experience the addition of Ares, the God of War, as well as a new familiar, alongside a comprehensive suite of quality-of-life improvements, enhancements, and bug fixes.
A standout feature of the changelog is the inclusion of changes specifically requested by regular players. While it might seem minor, this inclusion is a powerful statement that underscores the value Supergiant places on player feedback.
Looking ahead, the team has announced that the third major update for Hades II is slated for release in the spring. However, it's still premature to pinpoint a full release date.
