Free Fire to debut new Winterlands: Aurora event to mark the festive season

Free Fire’s Winterlands 2024 update is bringing the chill with a snowy new season! This update introduces Koda, a new character with a mystical fox mask and the unique Aurora Vision ability. Aurora Vision enhances Koda's senses, allowing him to spot enemies hidden behind cover (unless they're crouching or prone) and highlighting enemy locations during parachute drops.

The update also features Frosty Tracks—icy rails that let you zip around the map while shooting, turning, and using throwables. These tracks, appearing in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes, also feature special Coin Machines dispensing 100 FF coins each. Collect these while gliding!

Winterlands 2024 adds Aurora Events to both game modes. In Battle Royale, find aurora-affected Coin Machines; in Clash Squad, look for aurora-affected Supply Gadgets. Interacting with these items completes event quests and grants buffs to all teammates.
