FragPunk: New PC Multiplayer Shooter Launched
FragPunk, a new 5v5 multiplayer first-person shooter, has launched on PC, receiving a mixed 67% rating on Steam. The game's unique feature is its innovative use of fragment-cards. These dynamically alter gameplay mid-match, creating diverse and unpredictable battles. Developers describe the cards as combinable, counteracting each other, and adding significant tactical depth.
Players can choose from 13 unique launchers, each with special abilities, catering to both collaborative and solo playstyles. FragPunk allows players to rely on individual skill in online matches.
However, Bad Guitar, the studio behind FragPunk, has announced a delay for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. Initially scheduled for March 6th, the console release was postponed due to unforeseen technical issues. A new release date is yet to be announced, but the developers promise to keep players informed.
