A new fighter has been announced for Tekken 8 – Anna Williams
Get ready to unleash Anna Williams in Tekken 8's Season 2! Bandai Namco's new trailer showcases her lethal moveset, stylish new skins, and a captivating intro sequence—including a special cutscene if Nina Williams is her opponent.
Anna, the first character of Season 2, arrives on March 31st for Character Year 2 Pass holders, with general release on April 3rd.
The trailer also hints at a thrilling roadmap for 2025 and early 2026:
- Summer 2025: A new fighter and arena join the fray.
- Fall 2025: A new fighter enters the competition.
- Winter 2025/2026: Another new fighter and arena will be added.
Beyond the exciting new content, Bandai Namco announced that Tekken 8 has already surpassed 3 million copies sold—a testament to its popularity and a significantly faster sales pace than its predecessor, which boasts over 12 million copies sold.
Tekken 8 launched on January 26th, 2024, and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
