Warframe: 1999\'s Techrot Encore update sees you taking On-Lyne Off-Lyne, coming soon

Warframe: 1999's March update, "Techrot Encore," delivers a wave of new content, including the highly anticipated 60th Warframe, Temple. This Y2K-themed update also introduces four fresh Protoframes and a host of new weapons.

But the real highlight? The arrival of the Technocyte Coda, a mutated boy band known as On-Lyne from the game's pre-release ARG. These once-harmless pop stars have undergone a sinister transformation, becoming formidable new Lich adversaries.

Players will be well-equipped to face this threat, thanks to four new Scaldra weapons offering diverse combat options. Furthermore, the update includes enhancements to the Romance & Relationships system, a new Gyre Deluxe cosmetic skin, and the aforementioned Protoframes and Warframe.

The update's unique Y2K aesthetic continues to charm, and the "boy band turned cybernetic monsters" storyline is a captivating addition.

Before the March update, players can enjoy several pre-update events. Starting February 6th, the Clan Operation: Belly of the Beast returns, along with new skins and Nightwave Vol. 8, offering additional rewards.
