Dark & Darker Mobile slated for soft launch in Canada next month, release in first half of this year
Dark and Darker Mobile is poised for a Canadian soft launch on February 5th, with a global release expected in the first half of 2024. Pre-registration remains open.
Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, will initially launch in Canada on February 5th. However, a worldwide launch is planned for the first half of the year.
Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler mechanics. Players, solo or in parties, navigate a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure loot. Characters encompass a variety of fantasy archetypes, including fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards.
Following the success of the PC version, Krafton acquired the mobile adaptation rights. Significant improvements are underway before the global launch.
Enhanced Gameplay
Planned enhancements include revisions to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanisms, alongside dungeon structural overhauls to optimize party play. Class differentiation will be refined through improved basic attacks and combat mechanics, and expect an expanded arsenal of weapons and skills.
